I’m from the area. I was born and raised in the city of Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Reading High School and Albright College.
I wanted to become an attorney primarily because I just had the desire to help people. I always enjoyed helping people—having people come to me with a situation, then trying to resolve that situation for them as best I could. I more or less chose elder law because I saw a real need in that area. There are not many attorneys in this area that specialize in elder law and understand all of the issues surrounding representing elderly people. I felt I could help that segment of our population here in the Berks County area.
When dealing with an issue for an elderly person—with a parent, with a spouse—doing nothing is the worst thing you can do. Take the first step and call me so we can have a conversation.
Many times, you might think there’s a right approach. You may be told to do certain things and they may be absolutely wrong. Call an experienced professional and get the information before you make a decision. It’s very important that you get the proper legal advice.
